Directions for Private Vehicles from Manila

Palm Beach Resort  is located in Bo. Hugom,  just after Bo. Laiya,  in San Juan, Batangas. It is a pleasant 2 ½ hour drive from Makati via the Skyway – South Superhighway – Maharlika Highway – Star Tollway –  through Lipa – Padre Garcia – to San Juan, Batangas.
–  or through Ibaan – Rosario – to San Juan.
Please follow the directions below!

    • Take South Super Highway heading south and EXIT at Maharlika Highway (Exit 50) that leads to Batangas, Lucena and Legaspi.
    • Proceed along this Highway towards Sto. Tomas, Batangas (approximately 6 km.) until you reach the STAR Toll entrance. Watch for the Hi-way Sign and ENTER the Star Toll to your RIGHT after the First Philippine Industrial Park. Drive for approximately 25 kilometers (around 20 minutes).
    • Exit at IBAAN, which is the next exit after LIPA.
    • Upon exiting, turn left and cross under the STAR TOLLWAY.

OPTION 1

    • Follow this road and watch out for the sign “Alternate Route”  and turn LEFT.  Drive on and when you hit the main provincial road, turn RIGHT
    • You will reach a small fork divider, turn LEFT toward Rosario

If you miss Option 1 take Option 2

OPTION 2

    • Follow this road which will lead to the Town Plaza of Ibaan.  When you see a small island divider,  take the LEFT leg of the fork.
    • After passing the IBAAN Church (St. James the Greater), follow the road veering left until you  come to another fork on the road.  Take the RIGHT leg and this will take you through ROSARIO.
    • Pass the town of ROSARIO and proceed straight towards SAN JUAN.
    • After a few kilometers, you will see a sign of the Batangas Racing Circuit. Veer LEFT at this point and this will take you all the way to San Juan.
    • In the town of San Juan, you will pass a Petron Gas Station and Dunkin Donut. Proceed further, and TURN RIGHT immediately after the Municipal Hall. This road will take you to the Barrios of Laiya and Hugom. The distance from Municipal Hall to the Resort is 21 km, the last 1.5 km of which is unpaved gravel roads.
    • Pass other Resorts and a cemetery on your left till you arrive at the foot of the hill.   Drive up and you will pass the entrance to La Luz Resort.  Proceed further up until you see the Palm Beach entrance on your left. Take this road to bring you down to Palm Beach.
    • Caution: Some portions of the road are slippery when wet.
    • Drive safely.

Note :    Text or call 0920-951-6051 when you reach Bo. Hugom before going up the hill so our staff can open the gate and/or  guide you to the resort.
The Resort is ACCESSIBLE TO BUSES and cars.
Only Smart has a signal in the resort.
The Globe signal is only until the foot of the hill before ascending.

Directions using Public Transportation from Manila

Via CANDELARIA, QUEZON

  1. Take a bus from Manila to Lucena (JACLINER, TRITRAN, BLTB, JAM, etc)
  2. Get off at the Town of Candelaria (approx. 2 hours)
  3. Get off at Chow King right after the town proper of Candelaria
  4. Go to the nearest intersection, about 10 meters
  5. Take a jeep to the town of San Juan, Batangas (approx. 30 minutes)
  6. Get off at the San Juan town market
  7. Get a jeep to take you to Brgy. Hugom  Tell the driver that you are going to Palm Beach Resort.
  8. Inform our staff (0920-951-6051 c/o Let) that you are on the way to Palm Beach, they will pick you up at the foot of the hill to bring you to Palm Beach Resort.

Via LIPA

  1. Take a bus from Manila to Lipa City (JACLINER, TRITRAN, BLTB, JAM, Alps,  etc. (approx. 1.5 hours)
  2. Get off at bus Terminal near McDonalds, Jollibee and Shakey’s.
  3. Take a tricyle to the jeep terminal located at the City Market (approx. 10 minutes).
  4. Take a jeep bound for San Juan, Batangas (approx. 45 mins.)
  5. Get off at the San Juan town market
  6. Get a jeep to take you to Brgy. Hugom  Tell the driver that you are going to Palm Beach Resort.
  7. Inform our staff (0920-951-6051 c/o Let) that you are on the way to Palm Beach, they will pick you up at the foot of the hill to bring you to Palm Beach Resort.
